What this Privacy Policy Covers

First State Group Pty Ltd ACN 127 659 714 and all of its associated entities (“FSG”) provide this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to notify you of the procedures we have put in place to ensure any personal information you provide to us is collected, held and managed in an appropriate and respectful manner. FSG is subject to the National Privacy Principals under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) ("Act"). This Policy has been prepared in compliance with National Privacy Principle 1.3 and explains in general terms how FSG protects the privacy of your personal information under the Act.

This Policy :-

1. covers FSG’s treatment of personally identifiable information that FSG collects when you are on the FSG site and when you purchase or register your interest in FSG’s products; and
2. applies to any personal information about you (as defined in the Act) which you or a third party provide to FSG when dealing with FSG; and
3. also covers FSG’s treatment of any personally identifiable information that FSG’s business partners share with FSG.

This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that FSG does not own or control or to people that FSG does not employ or manage.

The personal information which FSG would usually collect about you will include:

FSG is a premier property development organisation, specialising in medium to large scale residential, retail, commercial and industrial developments across Australia. FSG uses your information for three general purposes. Those are:

1. to discuss with you any property development of FSG or other new product;
2. to negotiate with you for the sale of any property and/or related services in relation to any property development of FSG; or
3. to enter into any contractual documentation with you pursuant to the above.

FSG may also collect personal information about you to:

1. provide you with advertising material relating to any new product released by FSG; and/or
2. compile statistics to be used by FSG.

However, FSG will give you the opportunity to decline to receive this further information or marketing. FSG may also be required to collect personal information about you in order to comply with relevant laws. If you disclose personal information to FSG about another person, then you promise FSG that:

1. you will at all times comply with the Act in relation to the personal information of another person;
2. the other person has consented to FSG collecting, using and disclosing that personal information as contemplated in this Policy;
3. the other person agrees to be bound by this Policy; and
4. FSG will not be responsible or liable in any way for any harm of loss to the other person if you do not comply with any of the above promises.

Information Sharing and Disclosure
FSG will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone. FSG will only send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when:

1. We have your consent to share the information;
2. We need to share your information in order to provide the product or service you have requested;
3. We need to send the information to companies that work on behalf of FSG to provide a product or service to you. (Unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us.);
4. We respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process.

FSG will provide you with access to the personal information it holds about you unless there is an exception which applies under the National Privacy Principles. FSG may recover from you its reasonable costs of supplying you with access to this information. Your request to provide access to this information will be dealt with within a reasonable time.
